About

Annie Huang is an independent producer who grew up in Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong before immigrating to the U.S. at age 11, where she learned English as her 4th language with the help of subtitled films. She has over 8 years of experience across creative development, film production, and marketing strategy at Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, Searchlight Pictures, and Sony Pictures.
Annie's produced works have screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals including Tribeca, Aspen Film, and Hawai'i International Film Festival, with support from Film Independent, CAPE, Rideback RISE, and Netflix. She is developing a new film and TV slate for Ally Maki’s production banner, AAGC Originals. Her upcoming independent projects include Bee, an Official Selection of Maison des Scénaristes at Cannes, Penny & Balthazar, a coming-of-age comedy slated for summer 2027, and an international drama set in Bretagne, France.
Annie is a member of the inaugural class of the Academy of Motion Pictures GOLD program, a Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar, a Women In Film Independent Producing Fellow, a Dear Producer Fellow, a Soho House Creative Futures Fellow, and an APIA NBCUniversal Award recipient.
