Annie Huang

Annie Huang is an independent producer who grew up in Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong before immigrating to the U.S. at age 11, where she learned English as her 4th language with the help of subtitled films.

She has over 8 years of experience across creative development, film production, and marketing strategy at Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, Searchlight Pictures, and Sony Pictures, where she worked on billion-dollar franchises including BARBIE, WICKED, and SPIDER-MAN, before leaving the studio system in late 2025 to produce her first feature.

Annie's produced works have screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals, with support from Gotham Film, Film Independent, CAPE, Rideback RISE, and Netflix. Her upcoming independent projects include Bee, an Official Selection of Maison des Scénaristes at Cannes, and Penny & Balthazar, a coming-of-age comedy slated for summer 2027.

Annie was selected for Square Peg Social, the filmmaker mentorship initiative founded by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen’s production banner. She is a member of the inaugural class of the Academy of Motion Pictures' GOLD program, a Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar, a Women In Film Producing Fellow, and an APIA NBCUniversal Award recipient.
